CNBM Group Completes First Acquisition Project in North Africa
Recently, CNBM’s Sinoma Cement, in partnership with the China-Africa Development Fund, successfully acquired 100% equity in Tunisia’s renowned cement producer, SOCI?T? LES CIMENTS DE JBEL OUST. This marks CNBM’s first overseas M&A project in the North African market.
As Tunisia’s third-largest cement producer, the company has an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons of cement and 1.6 million tons of aggregates, contributing significantly to local employment. Sinoma Cement will leverage advanced technology to upgrade the plant, supporting the green development of Tunisia’s building materials industry.
